Timber frame is one of the quickest building methods – from site clearance to completion in around 16 weeks. Add on about the same period of time for various approvals, negotiations, appointments of sub-contractors and paperwork, and your new home should be ready to move into in under a year.

Timber frame is also extraordinarily versatile and with the Self-Build House Company, who are experts in the ‘whys’ and ‘wherefores’ of building your own home, you will be I safe hands. Our extensive design and building experience means that we can work wit you to ensure that every detail is addressed and taken care of. For instance, you will need to draw up a construction programme and, to assist with this and much more besides, we will allocate a team to work directly with you. This will be headed by your own Project Manager, supported by a team of designers and technicians.
